How do you sidestep in rugby?

Answer:
  1. Sprint up to the opposing player you intend to sidestep.
  2. Fix him by making eye contact.
  3. Ensure you hold the ball in two hands so as to make sure he can't interpret which was you intend to step.
  4. Once you get near him take a long diagonal step to his left whilst putting your left should down on your left side. Then push off your left leg while thrusting your body weight onto your right side.
  5. You should be on his right now. So take your chance and sprint away before he knows what's hit him.

Another way is too

1. Sprint on a right or left angle
2. The takler will then sprint at you on an angle putting his body weight on the angle he is running.
3. Put weight on your right side.
4.Put your right foot down and push of it while shifting your weight to the other side quickly.
5. The takler will be too slow to change direction and you wouldv'e beat him.
