Tape it to the next toe using toe tape, pointe dancers use this and I recommend not getting Bunheads brand as this is low tack masking tape. Le Bleu Pointe Tape is good but expensive. The best for injury is " Smiley" toe tape at Discount Dance Supply, the same stuff can be bought at the grocery store as "tender tape" there's no way to cast or splint a toe, just tape it and maybe shove a sponge or lambs wool under the toe to prevent slippage. Hope this helps!
theres not much you can do, but the best thing for it is to take an ace bandage and start out close to your thumb, wrap it around your hand once, circle the fingerone at the knuckle, the come back down to the thumb and wrap around your hand once more
You can tape it top and bottom to your ring finger, or you can get a metal splint at a drug store and tape the pinky to it.
Yes. A bird can fly with a broken foot, but it will have difficulty landing and perching.

totally normal. broken bones in any part of your body are going to cause agony for a good while. it also doesnt help that you have to walk on it.
It usually is, but it depends on age, foot length, etc.....
You dont strap a broken toe. You leave it. This is because it is hard to strap to another toe
Sounds like gangrene. But honestly, if my toe fell off, I might see a doctor and find out for sure.
A phalanx is a toe bone. Thus a fractured proximal phalanx is a broken toe.
le petit orteil, le petit doigt de pied
Yes.
I have broken my toe in two places.
Yes, only the toe is broken not the ankle.
I hurt my pinkie finger playing Volleyball and it was swollen for 4 weeks so I finally went to the doctor. It ended up to be an avulsion fracture (small fracture). If your finger is broken it will be swollen. But take note: YOU CAN BEND YOUR FINGER IF IT IS BROKEN. Everyone told me that if it was broken, I wouldn't be able to bend it. And I could bend it and it was broken. If you think you hurt you pinkie, get it x-rayed. Now, because I waited so long, it will take longer to heal. Take Care and Good Luck.
