to start a career in boxing the smart way is to go to a local boxing gym or one closer to you get with a good trainer start off slow dont get pushed through the training train for atless agood 6 months let your trainer get you your first amature fight with someone with about the same experince you have and then you work from there make sure you have agood trainer to wean you along the process and after a good amount of amature fights tell your trainer you thinking about turning pro see what he thinks about how much more training you need its not hard to turn pro its just how much skills you pick up through your training and through your amature fights and from your good trainer hope i was of help and good luck

Start now. Find a Gym, inform a trainer on what you want to do. Start with the basics get them down first. Conditioning is the number 1 most important thing when starting boxing as a career. There are alot of things to do to become a boxer. You have to eat,sleep,and live boxing to become the best.
