No. American women were not even allowed to join the armed forces until WW2. The very small number of women who did fight in the Civil War did so by disguising themselves as men.
Where did you get the idea that dog fights are allowed? DOG FIGHTS ARE ILLEGAL. Anybody who promotes dog fighting should be covered in bacon grease and put in a cage with a hungry grizzly bear.!!!!!!!
Play fighting is ok, but if it starts getting too rough, or one puppy is hurt it should stop. Actual dog fighting is illegal and you would be sick to think of making dogs fight.
