Most likely the program doesn't recognize the cancelation of the back up. So you should go through the canceling process again and if it doesn't work then go through the forgot password process
I tried the forgot password, it said the account was canceled.
I have been emailing Webroot tech support and they simply do not have any clue. I finally found a link buried in their website at https://myaccount.webrootbackup.com/login.aspx that allowed me to log in and cancel the account. Once cancelled, it worked fine for a couple of days. Suddenly, today SpySweeper poped up the login dialog box and it had the same login name that I already cancelled. Nice going Webroot!
