How do you stop puppy peeing at the door?

Answer:
if the puppy is yours, you should try taking it out to pee every 4-5 hours or whenever she usually goes to pee on your door. after a while you should start coaxing him/her to go out and pee on her own. when she does do it, reward her with a treat and give her a nice pat/scratch. this make him/her associate going outside to pee with good things because every time she does it, something good happens. If he/she continues to pee on the door anyway, unfortunately you might want to try some tough love (not beating it but telling it off). It may take a while to properly train the puppy to do this but its better now than later because dogs learn and remember things a lot better when they are puppies.

Your puppy was more than likely not house trained properly. You need to take your puppy outside every hour or every 2 hours. Walk her until she urinates and defecates. When ever she does one of those, be really excited. As she does go potty say, "Good Girl!" and her name. When she's done. Give her lots of love. You MUST be consistent with taking her out. Gradually, you can increase the time from every 2 hours, to every 3 hours, and so on. Once she is fully trained, you need to take her out a minimum of 3 times a day when you are home. If, for some reason, she urinates or defecates in the house, do not rub her nose in it or use physical punishment. Even scolding is pointless because she doesn't know what you are scolding her for. Dogs have a 5 minute memory; anything they did 10 minutes ago, they've forgotten. If she does go in the house, try to catch her in the act. Pick her up in the middle of the act and take her outside so finishes her business outside. This teaches her that she needs to go outside not inside.
