Even short haired cats can leave a trail of hair flying all over the place, but I've never had it in my food. The cat should never be on your kitchen table or any counters and they can be trained not too. There isn't much you can do if you're not home, but be sure you wash down the counters and the kitchen table before preparing or eating food. Something I just found out recently is when cats get excited or are frightened their hair flies loose like a porcupine would let their quills fly! I was very surprised at this. Sometimes my dogs will chase our cat Molly (they are pals) and are just playing around (sometimes Molly starts it) and I guess the fun of the chase is enough to send her hair flying. There are special brushes for cats so purchase one and groom your cat every night while watching TV. Generally cats will groom themselves (some more than others, but they can't groom their backs and that seems to be where most of the hair comes from.
Don't get a collar with a bell on it. This will not alert the birds to the cats presence because the cat will simply learn to walk without making the bell ring.
Really, there's not a lot you can do short of getting a silly-looking device called a "cat bib" which keeps them from stalking and makes them so embarrassed that they won't go outside anymore.
By descipline. When your cat jumps on the counter/table to eat something say "No Tiger down!" However, it is probably easiest to just not leave food out somewhere the cat can reach. A cat, once it has learned where food is left unattended, can often not be told to do otherwise.
To stop a cat from playing with its food, get a spray bottle and fill it up with water. When the cat plays with its food, gently spray the water at the cat and then take the food away. Eventually the cat will learn that playing with the food triggers the unwelcome consequences.
If your cat is an outdoor cat, there is no guarantee you will be able to keep your cat from catching mice and birds. Hunting and catching small animals is completely natural to a cat. There are, however, a few things to try:
If you have a small crate or something similiar, put your kitten in the crate for 2-4 minutes everytime it jumps on the table, eats food from the table, etc. Everytime you let your kitten out of the crate and it doesn't jump on the table, give it a treat or something it likes, so the crate isn't a place your kitten will hate or be afraid of. If you don't have a crate you can put it in a small room such as a laundry room or etc.
Put your cat in your bedroom and be in there and make sure you CLOSE THE DOOR
put the other cat in a different room but doesn't matter if the door is closed or open because the other cat has a closed door.
Make sure both cats finish their before you let the cats out

A female cat is fertile its entire life. Spay your cat to stop it from going into heat in the future.
If your cat is hissing at strangers you can't stop your cat from hissing at them. The only thing I can think of that would stop a cat from hissing at someone is letting a cat get to know a person long enough that the cat isn't afraid of the person, and will therefore get along with him/her.
A cat will stop lactating when she is no longer nursing her kittens. A cat will know when to stop her kittens from nursing when she is ready.
i No This Sounds Stupid, But a Really Lazy Cat... Because their Instinct is to kill birds. so it has to real lethargic to not be bothered to do it.. Good luck with that one
Make it wear a collar with a bell on it, or keep the cat inside.
Put a bell on it. Then the animals will know to run away as something is close. Alternatively, keep the cat indoors.
it is a natural instinct that all cats have that comes from their ancesters surviving in the wild just like catching birds mice and small animals
Put a bell on their collar if they have one, but remember it's their natural behaviour so don't be too hard on them. Put a bell on their collar if they have one, but remember it's their natural behaviour so don't be too hard on them.

Depending on the cat's personality, then yes, it is possible for a cat to be scared of large birds. I have known of a cat to be chased away by a single crow. Some birds are naturally feisty or fearless, so will scare a cat away.
Aquatic birds
The cat focused on catching its dinner.
