Yes. It will make the cake or brownies lighter as opposed to heavier.

Sometimes. It does change the texture a bit, you can try and see for yourself. If the recipe doesn't turn out, mark it in your book that you can't use just egg whites. You might also consider using an egg substitute called "Egg Beaters" in the area of the store which sells butter/yogurt/cottage cheese, etc.

u can, but if the recipe calls for egg whites and not whole eggs stick with the recipe

well, you can. ut the taste wouldn't come out as good as it would have been if you use only egg whites. so i reccomend using whole eggs.

Just make sure to put enough egg whites. Like if it calls for three whole eggs you would probably want about 5 egg whites.
