On the back of the pistol, in the middle of the slide there is a round slide retainer that has a small hole in the center. Take a small pen, pencil, or just your finger tip and push it in about 1/8" inch, then lift the back of the slide up and the slide will come off the front. Keep your hand over the back of the slide as the slide retainer is under spring tension. As you remove the slide grab hold of the recoil spring underneath the barrel. Actually it is easy and takes just a few seconds. Unsrew the left grip screw and the grip and safey will come off. Unscrew the right grip screw and carefully remove the right grip as it holds some parts in place. The sear sticks up in the middle of the receiver and is spring loaded. Keep your hand over it and remove the cam, which is that wide, flat piece with an extension that points downward, to the right. This will release the sear and its spring out the top. The magazine catch and its spring is at the bottom. It's retaining pin can be easily pushed out with a pin punch. The trigger/disconnector assembly is held in place by a very small pin. Remove the pin and the assembly comes out the right side of the receiver as a unit. Don't loose the trigger spring which sits in a hole on top of the trigger. The extractor and it's spring are pinned in place on top of the slide. The retaining pin and spring are very tiny. Use caution not to lose them.
