Perform your takeoff checklist and verify all settings. Set the brakes. Run the engine up to between 50% and 100% of maximum power. If no problems, release the brakes and smoothly advance the throttle to full takeoff power. As you pass V₁ (55 knots indicated airspeed), gently pull back on the yoke. At V_R (65 knots indicated airspeed), rotate to become airborne at 10 to 15 degrees climb. Climb at 75 knots, climb rate 700 ft/min and about 2300 RPM. At 500 feet, retract flaps if set, maintain cruising speed of 120 knots IAS.
