Replacing the heater core isn't too bad AFTER you've learned how to do it. It took me quite a while to do it. If you have AC.... have fun.
I started before finding the guide. Already 1/2 way into it and was pretty lost.
Heres the guide I somewhat follow to do mine, and it helped out alot. Even though there were differences, it's a Jetta II replacement.
Use bags and clearly label them as you start pulling nuts and bolts and screws off. Theres alot, and you'll get pretty confused without doing it....

Prepare for a good weekends worth of work. Good luck
You have to take out the whole heater and air condiasioning system out and replace the new heater core in. When you replace the heater core, you firset have to put the air condiasoning system in then the heating system/ heater core. When you take the old systems out, you first have to take out the A.C then the heater.
hello this is what you have to do you have to take the dash all the way out of your truck and take the heater box out and then put it all back to together
take out the heater core then put the new one the same way you took out the old one.... Good Luck!
If they disconnected the heater core, it means it was leaking. Get a manual on your car from the parts store and it will show you how to replace the heater core also
put new ones on
Ok in a 93 Beretta the heater core is located behind your stero, best thing to do is to take the entire dash apart unless you like to work in small places. Take the black cover off take the old heater core out and then put the new one is make sure all the clamps are good and tight. A word of advice DONT BUT OREILLY AUTO PARTS! I bout a heater core from them a 1 1/2 ago and it went out on me already again.
Just unhook the hoses from the heater core and put a tube are something in the middle of them and clamp them together.
You put a for sale sign on it!
10000.00
Just un hook the hose's from heater core and put a piece of pipe in them or something and hook them together.
Try taking out your glove box and see if there is a cover behind there to take off and it should be exposed. it will take time to put it in but that's the only way.
remove the four nuts in the engine bay on the heater box near where the heater core hoses enter. Drain coolant remove the hoses and pull the heater box out from the inside of the car. Remove clips holding heater core, than put your new one in.
