The instructions to do that are in the operators manual if you have one. It is not too complicated and involves loosening some nuts on the linkage holding the mower up at the sides and at the front. If you mean just to lower the deck to mow at a certain level there should be a large lever mounted on the side of the mower with adjusting notches for setting the cutting height.
It is dependent on model, most are:
Slide deck under tractor, (might have to remove front adapter)
slide deck forward (reinstall front adapter, if removed), slide belt on.
Sit in front of tractor, push deck back with legs, during this, engage front adapter to frame.
(hard part is done)
Set lifting mechanism to lowest setting, engage float arms.
Engage rear stabilizer.
Double check all cotter pins and guards.
Actuate lifting arms to verify operation.
Remove bystanders, mount tractor and test blade engagement.
Start engine and engage.
There are too many possible answers to that question since there are many many Craftsman mowers. Please ask again with the mower model number.
Read the book
It's hard to explain here without graphics. I suggest going to your local public library and checking out a manual on small engines with all the details.
lift the yoke gaurd door and make sure that the front yoke is turned so that the split side is up, then pull the rotator handle. the deck will then drop. then make sure that the mower deck is at the lowest position. go to the front of the mower deck and lift by the two handles until it locks in place. the locking pin is on the left side as you face the mower from the front. be prepared it weighs about 175 lbs. these instructions apply to the 60" deck. good luck.
You first need to set the mower deck setting at high noon to read "blank". More or less between the 1" and 3.5" setting. Then pull deck release arm to allow for the deck to drop to the ground. Once locked into the down position, you need to release the U locks(that are spring loaded) located on the back half, and on both sides of the mower deck. This will allow for the arms that you have unlocked to be retracted up for clearance later. After that you must release the tension bar for the belt pulleys located on top of mower deck, left hand side, and remove the belt connected to the engine pulley located towards the front. After that, you must unlatch the front U-bar from the mower deck. After this is completed. Pull the mower Deck ARM back up, to the position normal for traveling. This will give you clearance to slide the mower deck out from the right side (chute side).
Park the mower on a level surface preferably concrete apply the park brake and drop the deck to the ground When refered The LHS and RHS of the mower is as you sit on it remove the cutting deck first pull the silver pins at the back of the deck towards you so the rear of the deck is free there is a pin on the lhs and one on the rhs There is a idler bearing adjusting arm on the deck from the lhs pull it toward you this will loosen the belt so it can be removed from the engine pulley There is also a steel rod that may need to be adjusted under the engine pulley it can be adjusted from the rhs by pushing it tward the pulley Then manover the deck forward pushing the front deck locating down then up then slide the deck out to the rhs fit the deck belt as per the manufacturers instruction either on the mower or in your book this belt is different for the 42" and 46" decks Push the seat forward then disconnect the battery and remove the battery box Under the mower on the rhs is a tension spring holding the adjester rod for the upper small belt disconnet it from the chassis by pulling it forward and out remove the small belt through the battery box The main drive belt will be loose to get it off you need to disconnect the electrical plug at the front engine pulley on the rhs and undo the puley bolt from under the mower Reconnect in the reverse order
first thing is to check the belt tention it may be stretched and need replacement or just out of adjustment. you didnot say what trans is in it hydrostatic or not.does it make a sound when in gear? does the engine speed drop when the clutch is let out?check the clutch is moving when the petal is moving, this may also be out of dajustment. good luck erich
Home Depot does have a repair service that repairs lawn mowers. You drop off the mower, they fix it and you pick it up at your convenience.
That's because your mower is not powerful so you need to go easy as you drop the mower over the bush
The surplus will drop back onto the lawn.
alot of work but if your willing ill tell u first remove the belt from tensoiners then remove cotter pins and mover bars the ones that look like bars the back is bolted remove bolts and it should drop down
just drop the cards in yor deck .. they are free anyway.

It could mean two things, a drop down deck, or just drop deck, which means the foot platform is lower then the truck mounting. For example the Rayne Nemesis, or Landyachtz Evo. Or it could mean a drop through deck, which means the trucks are mounted on top and the hangers extend through the board. For Example the Rayne Hellcat, or Landyatchz Drop Speed. You can also combine the two to have a drop down drop through mounting board, or double drop. The Rayne Demonseed incorporates both of theseThe point of both these types of longboards is increased stability at speed, an added bonus of the drop down deck is it makes a "gas pedal" as its called, which simply means the slope in the wood from the foot platform to the truck mounting helps lock in your feet while sliding and tucking at speed.Look up pictures of the boards I mentioned above, a picture can explain far more simply then I can.
