coming from a girl, there really is no reason for being nervous.
we don't bite, and the girl you want to talk to is probably nice so when she is relaxed and you are relaxed, you completely forget about being nervous making conversation really easy
you don't need to give yourself a pep talk, just a positive attitude (diff person) we r the same creature just pretend the girl is like your bf or a boy you r just talking to. just don't do anything that will change your looks because i personally hate that and find out what she is in to.

∙ 12y agoComing from a girls prospective but just walk up to the girl and strike up a normal conversation...to ease the rough spots just throw in a quick laugh and as you get deeper into the conversation tell her shes pretty and compliment her and she'll definitely stay interested but don't compliment her in front of her friends cause she'll get really embarrassed and act like she hates you...aka goodbye conversation.
Yeah, plan out in your brain somethings you might say, and don't just pop out at random and ask her a bunch of questions. Cause that's weird. Be yourself and answer her questions too. If she seems interested you can talk to her more, and become friends or boyfriend and girlfriend.
Practice makes prefect. Become friends with girls and talk to them regularly. Soon you will get the confidence to talk to girls in general. Don't come off to the girl as creepy or a jerk. Be yourself and don't be shy. Plan some things that you could take to girls about that wouldn't cause things to become akward.

∙ 11y agoDon't try to focus on the fact you're talking to a girl, think of it as talking to a beautiful man if it helps. Just have a light conversation, smile, laugh at her jokes and appear friendly.
Over a few meetings with her, you'll probably realise that she's not as scary as you thought.

∙ 16y agoFirst of all, relax. You come off a lot better if you appear relaxed. Try cheering yourself on first. If you're in a good mood, it will be easier to approach her. Realize all the things about yourself that are good, your strong qualities. If you make these stand out, she will probably notice them, too.

Most girls understand this and will give the guy a break and understand that it's hard.
