Dont keep shouting comments at ur bird, they learn things quickly by listening to the things going on around them. some breeds don't say a word, but this one has the speech an intelligence of a 5 yr old child, a busy household with alot of chat's best
1.Talk to it. Parrots will imitate what they hear. Keep it simple. Start with just one word, whatever word you would most like to hear your parrot say.
2. Turn on the T.V., they'll pick up every word! Make sure it's a show you enjoy, though.

You might be thinking of the Yellow Headed Amazon parrot, but it has a green body instead of blue. Maybe it's a type of finch or something?
