Personally, I have gone through the same thing over the years. I am 16 years old and have battled a mixture of bulemia and compulsive overeating since I was 11. I understand that it is hard, but in the end, WHAT DOSEN'T KILL US MAKES US STRONGER. Always remember that. If this person does not contact you, it doesn't matter. Fix your wounds before you fix someone elses.
Let the old wounds heal over, forget about it and move on.
AnswerIn the past you may have said you were sorry for the pain you caused. That really is enough. If they have not contacted you after 6 months chances are they are not going to. You deserve to be happy as well. I do not think that you may be ready for a new relationship, But you can always date. You will not forget your past love or the time that you spent together. But as long as you know in your heart that you regret what you said or did...then it's time to let go & move on with your life.Ray Werner
