• You should consider yourself lucky if your boyfriend tells you he loves you, but, if he is constantly saying it and not much else then this is a good time to learn good communication skills. In a kind and calm way explain to him you know he loves you, but he says it too often and it begins to mean nothing to you and actions speak louder than words. This simply means that he can show his love in other ways such as holding your hand; putting his arm around your waist; encouraging you when you need it; laughing together; sharing your hopes and dreams; mingling and having fun with friends. Someone can tell another several times a day that they love them, but some people don't mean it. 'I love you' is often a sentence used for many people when they may not love that person, but want something from them such as a sexual relationship, but this does not include your boyfriend. Talk to him and keep the communication skills up. Often men of all ages don't understand women of any age and they are doing their best and women don't know what men want either. It is through good communication skills one gets to know the other.
