First, take around two feet of twelve pound line. Tie on a number three or four wide gap bass hook. Then, take a plastic bead, and slide onto main line, followed by an egg sinker, 3/4 oz, then another bead. Tie a swivel onto the end of the main line, then tie the terminal line onto the other end of the swivel. There are many plastic baits you can bait with, plastic crayfish and lizards, worms all work well. This rig allows the bait to float up off the bottom, making it more conspicuous to bass. The beads make a clicking sound when the line is raised, which will attract less aggresive fish. A dynamite rig for probing stumpfield, and points. Your main line should be somewhat larger than the terminal line, 14 works well.
