you can take it to surgery to get A LOT of pure fat taken away, so he will be skinnier, it will be easier to move around, viola! healthy active cat! go to vet to learn about operation.

Start by feeding it smaller amounts and then run around with a string and the cat should chase it. But I'm also looking for more ways to do this! :)
