Export Firefox Bookmarks
With Firefox open, go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks... > Import and Backup and select "Export HTML".
The Export Bookmarks File window will appear.
Select the location to where you want the bookmarks.html file to be saved. You can change the file name to whatever you would like or leave it as is.
Click on Save and your Firefox bookmarks will be exported to the location that you specified.
Import Internet Explorer Favorites
Open internet Explorer and select File > Import and Export... and the Import/Export Wizard will appear.

To Export the Favorites folder in IE 8 which is the latest IE today. First you have to click "Favorites" and then the "Add to favorites" and then click "Import and Export". After the 1st step, click "Export to a file" then next. Tick the "Favorites" checkbox and then next. Choose the folder/s to be exported. Next twice then Export and lastly Finish.
Usually in Chrome, Firefox and IE, you press Ctrl+J to view the list. On your computer, (My reference in Windows 7) There should be a folder called Downloads in the favorites folder.
