You need to download them from iTunes then sync them just as you would a typical song.
Alternatively you can go to the Apps store on the iPhone, sign in using your iTunes account, then find the app you are looking for then hit download.
Make sure that you turn off your phone after they install to reset it and avoid bugs later on.
