How do you treat an adhd dog?

Answer:

Answer

A hyper-active dog is almost always a BORED dog! Dogs have a lot of energy, and if they are not given a way to channel that energy in a positive way, they WILL figure out a way to do it themselves - you just probably won't like it!

ADHD is not a recognized disorder among canines. If the dog is behaving in a way that suggests hyperactivity, it probably needs more exercise and a way to channel its energy. Consider taking an obedience or agility class.
Also, there are a number of great books available on dog training and behavior.
Consult your vet if the dog is destructive or acts irrationally.
Has your dog had its distemperment shots? Look into that. molly rocks
