I dont think you can u can just turn down the upload rate.
It would add to your upload limit :)
When you are downloading/uploading the file, you are referred to as the 'leecher'. Once your download is complete, you will see that your Bittorent client will keep on uploading the file, since downloading takes much less time than uploading. Once you have completely uploaded the file, you are known as a 'seeder'. The more the seeders on a torrent, the faster the downloads. That's why its called P2P (peer-to-peer), so you download and share at the same time! Seeding will not affect your download speed, since your download and upload speed are two different things, uploads do not affect downloads!

Not many. I dont know of any LEGAL site that does free music downloads but i do know a few ILEGAL sites, that uses BITTORENT files to share songs.
No. When your computer is off, no program is running which means bittorent isn't even on to download anything.
Usually, most downloadable content from bittorent is potentially dangerous, just go buy the game, I wouldn't risk it.

Because you are seeding the file, stop seeding the file. and while your at it install some peer protection like peer guardian or a really good firewall. torrents are notoriously ridden with hackers and anti p2p agency which will attempt to mess your computer up
A seed is a client (a person) that has a complete copy of whatever torrent you`re downloading. Once your torrent is done downloading it will remain open until you close it (This is known as being a seed or seeding). Lots of seeds = Faster downloads! So keep seeding !!! You can take a look at my blog for a complete explanation of torrents www.1001lostlinks.blogspot.com
Upland seeding is the seeding of a rising or not level part of the Earth.
