How do you turn off auto correct for your HTC Inspire cell phone?

Open up "all programs" and then "settings".
scroll down and tap "Locale & Text", tap on "Touch Input"
tap on "Text Input"
and uncheck predictive text and also word completion if you want to.
This will stop the keyboard putting in it's own words (so you can use the security image things).

∙ 12y agoAre you sure you mean auto correct - or predictive text (where the phone tries to guess the word you're typing). Turning predictive text on or off can usually be found in the set-up menu of most phones.
