go to the fuse box and try different fuses to stop the noise...this will not mess with anything else unless you chose the wrong fuse

Question

I also have this problem, a continuous tone in a 91 Mazda 626 dx. The seatbelt motor broke, but the belt still secures. The problem is that the buzzing/beeping tone prior to belt fastening continues after the belt is fastened, but as a constant tone. I've replaced every fuse and had several mechanics look at it. The belt's been fixed, but no one can do anything about the tone. Can anybody PLEASE help me? I use the car everyday; even with almost 225,000 miles on it, it still runs great, but that tone is KILLING ME! Help!
