See page 153 of the owners manual. Turn the engine off with the odometer reading showing (not either of the trip indicators). "Turn the ignition switch is set ON while holding down the trip meter reset knob". Some language, eh? "Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates 000000 and the light will go off.
If you go to the oil change section of the owner's manual it will tell you exactly how to. If you get your oil change at a professional place be sure to ask them to turn it off or take it back and ask them to turn it off. Good Luck!
try removing the batt terminals and let it sit for about 15 minates, that will reset the ECU
