You go to accessories on you start menu, then go to system tools and look for "CHARACTER MAP". If you cant find it then try searching you computer using the Keyword " CHARACTER MAP".
If you are using Windows you simply use alt codes.
To create a grave accented e you hold down the alt key, and type 0232 on the number pad. And it results in è.
To create n acute e you hold down the alt key, and type in 0233 on the number pad. Which results in é.
If you wish to create a circumflexed e then you hold down the alt key, and type 0234 on the number pad. Resulting in ê.
If you are using MS Office applications at least, use the tool-bar Insert > Symbol menu.
That opens alphabets in different languages.
Scroll through to the intended character, which is complete letter plus accent, highlight it, select Insert then Close, both at the foot of the Symbol pane.
You will also see it gives the corresponding [ALT]+nnnn combination short-cut, where nnnn is 4 digits from the number keys. I'm not always convinced it works from one computer and version of Windows or application to another, but it's worth trying. Alternatively once you've inserted the first, simply copy & paste it to the rest of its occurrences - don't use 'Find & Replace' though!
you can use the ASCII code (hold down the [alt] key and type: 0238)
[alt+ 0238] > result using this method = î
there is an ASCII code for any symbol, or for other regular or accented letter (link for ASCII codes chart)
alt + 0204 = Ì
alt + 0205 = Ã
alt + 0206 = ÃŽ
alt + 0207 = Ã
alt + 0236 = ì
alt + 0237 = Ã
alt + 0238 = î (you already know it)
alt + 0239 = ï
hold alt and press 0233 on the number bad on the right for an acute accent over an "e"
You can use Ascii Code:
Alt160 á
Alt130 é
Alt161 í
Alt162 ó
Alt163 ú
The Alt option for creating an à is (Alt + 161)
The accent mark over this letter é is an acute accent. The accent mark over this letter è is a grave accent. The accent mark over this letter ê is a circumflex accent. The mark under this letter ç is a cedilla.
happiness
Example 5: the Italian word "università" (= university) is written with a diacritical mark ("grave accent") on the letter "a" - otherwise the second letter "i" would be stressed (the penultimate syllable). It is incorrect to write this Italian word without the diacritical mark.
the answer to what is acento is accent its the mark above a letter in spanish
It depends on how you write it out. You can write it as: dieciséis OR diez y seis
yes, over the very last letter (a)
From NE to SW: un café
there is no accent mark on the word formidable
Los muchachos espanoles. Then n needs the accent mark.
I'm not completely sure but I believe it's called a "tilde"
if = si (withOUT the accent mark) yes = Sí (with the accent mark)
No. Now, if you spell it out as "televisión", you do use an accent mark.
