How do you unclog a turbo on a ford 1990 probe gt?

Answer:

I believe 89' was the only year for the turbo engine?

Answer

you don't unclog them, you buy a new one.

Answer

more then likely the turbo is not clogged if you remove the turbo and remove the compressor side housing and if you notice any scrubbing between blades and housing the bearings have failed or shaft has bent. the tolerances in the bearings and shaft are very close within thousandths of an inch. it will have to be taken to a turbo shop. even though it is a gasoline engine, i recommend taking it to a diesel injection and or turbo shop.
