Exit back to home with the home button, swipe four fingers up, and press the X on the Kindle app icon (and all the other suspended apps as well). Relaunch app.

∙ 11y agoRestart it by holding down the power button on the top until it shows the power down swipe. Swipe, and then press's the button again to restart.
