How do you uninstall Google IME?

To uninstall, follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Start" menu.
2. Select "Control Panel" and then go to "Add or Remove Programs".
3. In the program list, select the "Google Input", click on "Change/Remove" button.
4. By default, "Retain my personal data with settings"option will be checked, which will not clean your personal customizations like display font, user correction cache etc., as part of uninstall. Uncheck the option, if you want to clean all your personal settings information.
5. In the "Uninstall Google Input" dialog box, click "Yes".

In addition to Korean IME look for Pinyin IME. They both install together it seems.

Go to settings / apps then to the all apps screen.

Scroll down the list. You will find them there.

Click "Force Stop" then "Disable" that will stop any activity associated with these apps.

You should check for a $0.99 cent charge on your card connected to these apps.

Other forums indicate that Google is looking at this. Keep searching this topic for updates on how to actually remove them.
