How do you unlock a suitcase with forgotten combination lock? In: Home and Garden |
[Edit] |
You either go through all the possible combinations (it takes long, i've done it before), or you can break it open.
If it is a hard suitcase you can start with the first number on the lock and go through them all but after each time you try to open the suitcase. One of the numbers will actually feel like the suitcase is a bit looser when you try and open it. Once you have found the correct number you can repeat the process on the 2nd number and so forth. It doesn't take too long as long as you are really concentrating on if the suitcase feels it budges a bit more than any others numbers.
If it is a suitcase with a zip and padlock you can just use a ballpoint pen, push it between the zipper and run it along to open the zipper - you can then close it again like normal after you have taken things out of it - but unfortunatly you would have to do this everytime you open it.
