BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. When you use CC you let all the e-mail receivers know who received a copy of the e-mail. When you use BCC, the members of the BCC group are not revealed to the other people who receive the e-mail. If you receive an e-mail that shows the only recipient as the sender, it probably means that your e-mail address was included on the BCC line.
BCC stands for Blank Carbon Copy. BCC is for sending an email to two or more people when you don't want each person to know who else has received your email.
So for example, with BCC you can send an email to ten people, and none of those ten people will see the other person's email, only your email.
I used BCC to ensure the privacy of everyone on our mailing list.
Because the email is fast on sending messages
Use the "bc" or "bcc" feature otherwise known as blind copy (you have the options of using "to", "cc" (carbon-copy), or bcc (blind copy or blind carbon copy) when sending emails. People will only see that the email was sent to "undisclosed recipients" if you use bc or bcc.
Bcc is blind or blank carbon copy. It is used when sending email to undisclosed individuals. Example, correspondence between you and an employee where the initiator of said conversation uses the bcc to a boss or other individuals and recipient of initial email doesn't know and can't see (blind) who ALL can also read email.
Using BCC protects your recipients' private email addresses from being spread to strangers (from being released into the public domain.)Using BCC helps prevent SPAM.When using BCC, messages are easier on your readers because the messages contain less text to sift through. The cleaner the message, the easier it is to read.Because the messages contain less text, they're smaller and require less bandwidth. They will download faster.Using BCC shows your consideration of others by not publishing hundreds of your contacts to strangers.
serves encrypt all incoming and outgoing messages
In emailing, BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Any email addresses typed into the BCC slot will receive a copy of the email, but no one else will be able to see who else has received the email.
Bcc: Which stands for Blind Carbon Copy.
BCC is the same as CC, except that the BCC field isn't public. An email sent to you via BCC will look as if it was sent normally and magically ended up in your inbox. This is handy for mailing lists, as you could send an email to yourself or nobody and have all of the recipients in the BCC field, protecting their privacy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_Carbon_CopyUse it when you're sending an email to more then one person and you don't want the other people too see everyone else that you're sending it too. E.g.To: BobCC (carbon copy):JoyBCC: FredBCC: KimBob can see that the email was sent to Joy, but no one else.Joy can see that the email was sent to Bob, but no one else.Fred can see that the email was sent to Bob and Joy but doesn't know that it was sent to Kim.Kim can see that the email was sent to Bob and Joy but doesn't know that it was sent to Fred. BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Any email address that you put in this section will be invisible to anyone else who receives the email. BCC is very helpful if you want to send an email to a large list of people and you don't want them all to see who else is receiving the email. Another use: I want friend A to see what I am sending to friend B but I don't want friend B to know that friend A can see the message. Therefore I would put friend B in the "To:" section and friend A in the "BCC:"section.
BCC means blind courtesy copy the main recipient will not see the other email addresses.
cc=carbon copy bcc= blind carbon copy. use these when sending to multiple addresses
BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. It is used for sending the same e-mail to lots of people without anyone that receives it knowing who else got it. Clubs or organisations use it as a way of keeping people's e-mails private. Into BCC you put the addresses you want to send e-mails to, just like you would in the TO or CC line.
