Skype on the iPod touch will not let you use video chat but you may still call people. If you have a 3g ipod touch with voice memos and speaker you will not need anything, if you have a 2g ipod touch that has just a speaker you will need a 3.5mm jack adaptable mic, if you have a 1g ipod touch without a speaker and mic you will need a 3.5mm jack adaptable headset with mic and speaker.
