I assume you mean, "How do I use an iPod to listen to music on a radio via FM transmission"
Stop by your local Best Buy, Target, or if you must Walmart (Blech!)
Go to the electronics section of the store. Browse around there will be all sorts of iPod goodies you can get. Look for a radio transmitter attachment. There are two basic styles I have seen:
-iPod data plug-the transmitter plugs into the same port you use to charge the iPod (great sound, great FM range, uses the iPod battery)
-Headphone plug-the transmitter plugs into the port you would use for headphones (more flexible as you could use it with a laptop, CD player, or many other things, However, it will most likely require batteries or external power)
I don't believe you can add FM Radio (received off the air) to the iPod Touch.
You can, however, access a large number of FM Stations around the country that stream on AOL Radio, which comes already installed in your iPod. I myself am a frequent listener to WQXR FM in NYC.
Hope that helps.
No, the second generation iPod Touch does not come with FM radio. You must be connected to the internet using a radio app to listen to FM radio.
I take it you have a FM radio, if so you can get a FM transmitter for your Ipod, All you have to do then is tune your radio to the frequency of the transmitter .
No, but it does have pandora. Which is an internet radio.
yes
If your car only has a radio, you will need to purchase an FM aux tuner. This will then plug into your iPod and you will tune your cars radio to the frequency that is set on the aux tuner.
An FM transmitter on an iPod or any other mp3 player is basically an FM radio. In the past digital music players did not even have any radio built in. Nowadays, most mp3 players give users access to FM radio stations.
The itrip is an FM transmitter that attaches to your ipod and allows you to get radio frequencies from FM radio on your ipod. It isn't made by Apple, the maker of ipods, but they are available for sale at most electronics stores.
you need an FM transmiter
unless you get a new radio installed, an FM modulator is your only option
FM receivers are used through your car charging jack. The FM receiver has a button to push, and find a channel. When this channel is displayed, turn your radio to the identical match and your iPod music should play through the radio.
If your IPod does not have an AM setting your cannot use it to listen to AM channels. You can use an FM transmitter for an IPOD to transmit music from your IPOD through your radio. Many of these will also charge your IPOD.
It does not have a built in AM/FM radio, but you can purchase a radio app for it to listen to the radio over Wi-Fi.
