The green jack should be inserted into the corresponding jack input, as does the cream-coloured jack, which can be located on the back of the motherboard (if it is a Desktop computer) or on the side of the base (if it is a Laptop).

apple sells very good earphones for iPod Touch/iPhone that have an external mic, volume control and high-quality audio for $70, but you can find the exact same ones for only $15 dollars on ZenithMobile. If you want even cheaper mic earphones on amazon and buy.com they sell mic earphones for $3-$5 but they are really bad and not much cheaper than apple's earphones. gregory
