Well, Minoxidil (aka Rogaine) is used to "regrow" hair. The correct way to use it is: wash your hair, then apply sparingly to affected area. Before every application, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO WASH YOUR HAIR. If you fail to wash your hair before each application, the Minoxidil will build up in your system and cause you to get quite sick. I know this from experience not only because I used to be a nurse, but because my ex-husband was prescribed Minoxidil and that's what happened to him. Good luck though, have a wonderful day
