How do you use sweet oil for ear wax removal?

Answer:
You don't.

Sweet oil, or olive oil, was never very effective in removing ear wax and has been considered an outdated practice since around World War II.

Current products in use (requiring a prescription, sorry) would be something like Debrox, a carbamide peroxide medication placed into the ear every day with periodic ear irrigation . This softens the ear wax enough to be safely and effectively removed.
