However, you need to make sure you have a memory stick in it - usually and SD card or something similar. Also, you will probably need batteries, unless it doesn't need them and recharges directly to the wall socket.
Then you just turn it on, and if you don't know much about cameras, you'll want to make sure the top setting is set to "Auto"
