a couple of tablespoons in the bucket will work fine * According to the Vinegar Institue, use equal parts of distilled white vinegar with warm water, but try the suggestion above first as it may not be necessary to use more than just a couple of tablespoons per bucket. http://www.versatilevinegar.org/usesandtips.html#1b

In order to start using vinegar to clean your house windows, the first things you need are a spray bottle, a cup of white vinegar, 2 drops of liquid dishwasher soap, a cup and half of alcohol, sponge, a rubber blade, a dry-lint free rag and a handful of crumpled old newspapers.

once all things are in place, you start off. Note that you need to prepare a solution with vinegar not just splashing the window with vinegar. Start with mixing the dishwasher soap, alcohol and vinegar. After mixing, place it in the spray bottle. Adding water to the solution is also a good idea in order to avoid becoming flammable if too much alcohol is used.

You can use the solution right away or wipe the windows for dirt. Usually most people prefer to use the solution. Next scrub the windows once the solution is applied. Use a sponge to do so. Next using the rubber blade you can start cleaning from the top till the bottom. That's all is really needed to use vinegar to clean your windows. Hope this helps.

Good question. We always used 1/2 C pure vinegar to 1 gal water on our family floors. It dries to a dull sheen which is enhanced with Murphy's (there is no oil in it) or something similar
