Rabbits dont really need washing, they clean themselves. You could tell a rabbit is dirty by its little paws. You could clean them if you wanted to, but it might traumatise the rabbit. Although, here are some steps:
- Fill a little tub up with about 5 inches of water (as it could drown your rabbit by it being to full)
- Make sure the temperature is warm (especially on cold days)
- gently bathe your rabbit with some water for about five minutes
- put your rabbit back in its hutch (if you let your rabbit run in the dirt, it could get dirty again)
- and then check the water for any signs of insects.
