Watercolor painting is very easy if you get the correct amount of water on your paper or in your brush. You would need to read a book or take a few lessons. It's like riding a bike. You don't know how unless you have someone show you and help you and you try. Just remember one thing. Light should be light and dark should be dark. That's what make the best paintings.

∙ 13y agoThere's a lot to say about that, because watercolor paints are used very differently from oils or acrylics.
Some tips:
-invest in good, thick paper
-don't use white, let the paper shine through
-if you want to make shapeless colors, first wet the paper.

∙ 13y agoExperiment! Try mixed media- sharpies, pen, charcoal, etc. over/together with watercolor! Also, I find watercolor pencils are very useful in the creation of watercolors. Have fun! :D
