There are many ways to do this, based entirely on your situation. To simply say to your boss "I quit" will obviously not help you if you ever need a job reference from this company at some later date. In which case, a bit more tact may help, and you could write a letter something like this:

Please be advised that as of [add date] I am tendering a letter of resignation, as advanced notice that on [insert date, 2 weeks is normal] I will regretfully no longer be employed here."

-----------------------OR---------------------

Dear [Manager name] :

Please accept this as my resignation to (name of company), effective immediately. I regret the inconvenience it may cause, but circumstances have left me no choice. I will be in contact with the Human Resources to make arrangement for my final check. If any problems arise, you may give me a call at (your number) and i will do my best to help.

Sincerely,

Open the letter by stating the time worked at the company and the position held. Go on to describe the circumstances in which employment was terminated. Close by wishing co-workers the best of luck in their future endeavours and include a contact method, such as an email address should anyone wish to stay in touch.

Dear workers,

i have a important topic to tell you about. We have had a change in the company, one of you'r employees no longer works for us. There will be no questions about why or how, But, you all deserve to no that he is no longer with us. I would appreciate it if you would meet me in my office if you have any thoughts.
