To write a poem about peace, focus on imagery and emotions that evoke a sense of calm, unity, and harmony. Use soothing language, gentle rhythms, and metaphors symbolizing tranquility. Consider incorporating elements of nature, love, and understanding to convey the essence of peace in your poem.

First, you decide what the words that read downwards will be. If you want a very short poem, you may choose the word 'peace' on its own. That means that your first line will begin with 'p', your second line with 'e', and so on. If you want a longer poem you may choose a phrase like 'peace on earth', which will give you 12 lines.

Having made these choices, you can now write your poem. You may have a break between your lines of verse where there is a break between the words of your phrase, but it is not essential.

Your poem, at best, should rhyme

-It shouldn't take a lot of time

And your peace within

Will make you grin

-Well, the ending line is up to you-
