Anger is a feeling of displeasure resulting from injury, mistreatment, or confrontation. As humans it is not easy to control anger. The funda is simple - what is pleasing or rightful for someone may be cause of intense anger for other. Anger is one of the biggest obstacles to personal and career success.

Anger can spoil a relationships. Being close in any relationship for many years, there may not be peace and harmony throughout. There are bound to be clashes between personalities, priorities, interests and many other things. Being close for a long time, we know the other person's shortcomings and it becomes very easy for us to criticize and get angry towards them. Also we tend to make mistakes when we are angry, because anger makes it harder to process information.

That is why anger management has become very vital in today's fast paced and stressful world. The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions.
