There is no celebration of Christmas in the true Aboriginal culture. However, for those indigenous Australians who have embraced the western culture, they will celebrate it the same way as the rest of Australia.

Australia's indigenes people do not have any particuoar set festival they celebrate during Christmas. Many of them are Christians, so they celebrate Christmas as Christians do. Others simply join in the festivities with the rest of Australia.

It depends on whether (and how) they were exposed to Christianity. Many native Australians were forced to abandon their indigenous beliefs and become Christians; these days, we may assume they celebrate the Christmas holiday the way their parents or grandparents were taught to celebrate it by the missionaries. But some contemporary aboriginals are now adapting Christmas to include some of their own traditions, such as using the day as a good time to honor and remember their ancestors.
