President Obama's stated political position on global warming is that it is an emerging crisis that needs to be addressed. He has proposed several pieces of legislation to help energize and develop renewable and green energy sources, signed a Presidential Directive increasing the gas mileage standard of new cars and has participated in several international meetings to help set new standards for carbon emission control.
that he cares
his moral standing on the issue of abortion.
He has claimed to have a faith in God.He said he was agnostic about the issue of raising taxes.
Because my nan did it hardcore with barack obama
He was the first African American elected as president.
In my opinion, Barack Obama is unique because he is a man that has consistently taken the high road when faced with malicious attacks against his politics, character and, most obviously, his race. He made no excuses for the obstacles of his background; instead he used them as a catapult to launch him miles ahead of his opponents. President Obama was smart enough and capable enough to immediately take the issue or his race off the table, to put focus on his ability to run the nation. With the intelligence, resilience, and perseverance that has been demonstrated by Obama, as a politician, makes him unique in his own right. Along with this point, Barack Obama is a symbol. He is the symbol of change of the United States to the world. On a global scale, the United States has a less than desirable image to the other politically and financially powerful contries. This ultimately affects our daily lives, and this is something that may not be realized to the average American. Barack Obama being commander in chief may very well improve the image of the U.S. on a global scale. There may very well be more information, or more accurate information regarding this question. In my personal opinion, however, these two points are what make Barack Obama unique.
Obama is really focused on moving some of the troops to afghanastan because we are currently losing that war. Some people think that's all he cares about, but he does care about global warming. President Obama wants to start nationwide the plan in California, some people have their doubts, but you never know until he tries, and we do need a change in our nation, so lets have faith in Obama's plan for global warming.
According to Barack Obama, global warming is a real threat caused by humans. Throughout his campaign, he, like John McCain, promised to decrease reliance on foreign oil and to increase spending on the development of green technologies such as wind power. During his presidency, the stimulus bill gave money to research green technology showing that he does in fact walk the talk to a certain extent. Global warming is a big issue. It pollutes our air and it kills thousands each year. Obama feels that we need to use less oil products and more solar.
Health insurance reform has certainly been one major issue. Another is the need for further education reform. Income inequality is also a major problem that needs to be addressed.
President Obama will do the same as the rest of us will. He will wait to see how the United States Supreme Court rules on the issue. In the meantime, he has done whatever he could to show support for same-sex couples and their right to marry.
With the passage of the Affordable Care Act, the concept of pre-existing conditions as a determinant of health care insurance is no longer an issue. Thanks, Barack Obama!
Because he is a Democrat. It seems like a simple answer, but I think it is nonetheless and accurate one, summarizing what is a mountain of mayhem based on how differently each party approaches the same issue.
