He showed courage when he did everything he could to fight off Bob Ewell and protect his sister Scout. He then was knocked out and Boo Radley had to help out and Boo killed Bob Ewell by stabbing him.

He shows courage when he doesn't fight back at the lynch mob which comes to the jail. He also shows great courage when he is threatened by Bob Ewell. He sets a good example for his daughter.
