How does Tylenol 3 get you high?

No. It can kill you, though. When you take a high dosage of Tylenol, your liver cannot process it, and therefore shuts down. The antidote is called Mucamyst, and the taste is extremely unpleasant. If you don't take it within somewhere around 24 hours, during which time if you try to eat you will vomit and feel pretty much dead anyway, your body will slowly kill itself over the course of two weeks. Seriously, don't even think about trying this. If you're going to drink cough syrup, think about how desperate that is, but if you're going to do it anyway, read the ingredients. If "acetaminophen" is one of the ingredients, do not take it. Acetaminophen is the generic for Tylenol, and if you take the required dose to get high off cough syrup, you'll also take enough Tylenol to either kill yourself or cause severe liver damage.

It takes 2 for me, but it is a really uncomfortable high, you feel sick to your stomach and have a headache. I wouldn't suggest it, even though I still do it on occasion. In fact I wouldn't suggest getting high at all.

i took 16 last night over the course of about an hour and a half, and i got an incredible body high.

Tylenol#3 is acetaminophen and codeine. codeine is turned into morphine in the blood stream, so yea, you can get really high on Tylenol #3.

i suggest 5 or 6 if you haven't tried it before.

Just thought I'd add one thing... Acetaminophen can cause stomach discomfort and/or vomiting. The most of any pill I took was 21 vikes, which was stupidly high... If you want to smoke something similar to Tylenol #3 is Percocet(Oxycodone) Very potent! But will not have the stomach discomfort. And if that doesn't work, try naproxen.

nah....it can sometimes make you tired, especially if you do too many, too fast. if you REALLY, REALLY need to sniff medication, just go slow & steady and you'll find your limit. don't go too far now

PS: edit: personal experience has shown for me that snorting t3s will not get you high or buzzed but for me it provides a slightly more effective level of pain relief vs taking them orally... i have found that ingesting t3s 2 every 4 hours as the doc says doesnt provide 4 hours of relief were as snorting a quarter of a t3 provides a decent level of pain relief for around 45 to 60 minutes giving me more relief out of 1 t3 then taking 2 orally... im not condoning my methods i just feel that this question hasn't had a decent answer from some one using t3s for pain relief who has snorted them as well as following the doctors orders...

The reason you get "High" or Euphoric from Tylenol 3 is because of the codeine that is contained inside it. Codeine is a mild narcotic analgesic which is responsible for reacting with the brain and causing euphoria, dizziness, drowsiness, and the appearance of being "High".

yes it can but it depends on how many you take. 4-6 pill should get you high for first time users. be careful you can OD. it can cause you to be really itchy,sleepy and throw up
