Cut out all bad fats in your diet and do plenty of exercise but DO NOT stop eating. Keep to a healthy, balanced diet and keep eating all good foods even if they have CHO's or healthy fats.

Also, try to eat 6 small meals per day. That means eating every 3 hours, exercise 3-5 times per week, drink plenty of water, and get 8 hours of sleep every night.

Remember that it is part of the growth process to occasionally gain a few pounds. A typical teenaged body is going through bone and muscle growth, hormonal changes and those take a lot of energy.
