How does a Temporary Restraining Order work?

Answer:
The person being restrained may not like it, but there are typically certain court ordered restrictions on their actions toward the person who asked for the order. Usually not coming with certain distances of them - calling them on the phone - making ANY kind of contact with them - etc - etc. The orders are tailored to fit the situation.
