When a text or image is entered into the CPU, it produces a series of varying voltages. This controls a LASER diode in the printer. This emits flashes of light which are directed by a rotating mirror scanning device to the precharged photoconducting drum, when it falls on the precharged photoconducting drum. The area corresponding the text or image will either be neutralized or oppositely charged. A plastic toner powder which has the same charge as the background is sprayed onto it. It only sticks to the text or image and is repelled by the background. A fresh paper is now pressed onto the toner. When the paper leaves the drum it is heated by the fixer so that the toner melts and sticks firmly on the paper.

In short, Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Now, to explain. In a laser, there is something called a MEDIUM. This is where the photons are made. In all substances, there are atoms. In the atoms, there are electrons. The electrons are on orbits around the nucleus of an atom. There are more than one orbiting each atom. The electrons are EXCITED by getting hit by photons. The electrons absorb the energy from the photons they are hit by. To be on a certain orbit, the electron needs to have a certain amount of energy. When an electron is hit by a photon, it GAINS ENERGY so is jumps up to another orbit, because it has too much energy to stay on it's normal orbit. The electrons, though, ALWAYS have to go back to their original orbit (a law of physics) and in doing so, it needs to release energy in the form of a photon. Mirrors focus the light and it then comes out of the gun. There are more factors, but they are complicated and I cannot explain them for now. The main thing is the Excitation of the electrons then the release of the photons.

Inside of a laser printer is a large mental drum that is electrostatically charged. The image that has been sent to the printer is drawn on the rotating drum by an actual laser. When the laser strikes the drum, that space becomes charged statically. The drum continues to rotate past the toner cartridge. The toner then sticks to any part of the drum that is charged. The piece of paper rolls by and is pressed up against the drum transferring the image onto the paper. The paper then passes through the fuser rollers. Image is heat and pressurised on the paper. The paper is ejected into the tray and the drum inside is cleaned off to continue printing again.

First Install the printer, then connect to the computer. Then after you do it you can ON the printer, put paper and make sure the INK is more. Then you can now use your PRINTER. That's just about it. It also depends on the printer because there is a lots of different. Thank you.

Laser printers use a photo receptor drum with a positive charge to react to the laser's negative charge to positively charge the paper. The paper is then sent through a fuser to heat up the paper causing the reaction of the toner to be fused into the paper's fibres.

Laser printers work by taking a picture of the image placed on the glass screen. They will make a copy of whatever you have placed on the screen. This is how laser printers work.

How network printers works?

Network printing works like normal printing as far as your document is concerned, but the computer does a little more work. Normally, the computer sends the document to a printer physically plugged in to it and it prints. In this case, the printer isn't plugged in, but is instead on the network, usually connected another computer. The computer printing would send the data over the network to the computer hosting the printer as if the printer were plugged in to the local machine.

What is the use of print set up in computer?

If you're talking about setting up a printer on the computer then the use for that is to connect the printer to your computer so you are able to print. The computer will send "test" pages to print on your printer so you will know whether it works or not.
